Terms of service
Version 2 · Updated 23 October 2026
The terms for businesses using ReviewFount.
1. About this agreement
These terms govern a business’s use of ReviewFount, a service of CALENDAR CUT SOFTWARE operated by Pardeep Dhaliwal, an Australian sole trader (ABN 14 749 474 221). The business accepting an order or creating an account is “you”. Your agreed written order, service scope and applicable law also apply. If an order expressly varies these terms, the specific agreed variation applies to that order.
You must have authority to act for the business and to grant access to its records and profiles. By using an account, you agree to these terms. Contact [email protected] with questions before accepting a service.
2. Service scope
ReviewFount provides tools for permitted review invitations, optional follow-ups, private feedback, reporting and agreed Google Profile Optimization. Each subscription covers one Google Business Profile. Message allowances, setup work, charges and any separately agreed work are confirmed before a paid service starts.
Google Business Profile is a free Google product. Our fees are for our own software and agreed services. We are independent of Google. A feature dependent on an external provider, API approval, sender registration or account permission is only available when that dependency is active. A manual care task does not by itself represent an automated change on Google.
3. Your account and responsibilities
Provide accurate business details and keep account access secure. Only invite authorised staff. You remain responsible for instructions given by your authorised users and must tell us promptly about unauthorised access or a staff member who should no longer have access.
You retain ownership of your customer records, content and Google profile. You give us the limited permission needed to process those records and carry out the agreed work. You must have rights to any logo, image, contact list or other material you provide.
You must have appropriate consent and comply with applicable privacy, spam and consumer laws and provider rules. Do not use purchased lists, harvested contacts or a transaction alone as proof of message permission. Keep accurate consent evidence and respect all opt-outs.
4. Honest reviews and acceptable use
Invitations must seek honest feedback from genuine eligible customers. You must not selectively invite only satisfied customers, buy reviews, offer prohibited incentives, impersonate customers or submit fabricated reviews.
Do not use the service for harassment, unlawful content, deceptive claims, spam, credential sharing or attempts to access another business’s information. We may pause harmful or non-compliant activity while we investigate.
5. Messages and external providers
SMS is included in your ReviewFount subscription. Email and SMS require the appropriate contact permissions and sending settings. No automatic channel fallback is promised. Message length, encoding and provider rules affect how messages are counted.
Queued, accepted, delivered, clicked and reviewed are different events. An accepted provider request does not guarantee delivery, and a click does not prove a review was posted. We use provider events where available and report uncertainty honestly.
Any change to the agreed service scope or price requires your approval. Provider outages, filtering, Google moderation and changes to external systems may affect features. Google decides which reviews it publishes. We cannot guarantee star ratings, search placement, customer numbers or revenue.
6. Fees and cancellation
For an online subscription, the monthly or yearly billing choice and recurring amount are shown in your account and secure checkout before you pay. Monthly subscriptions renew each month; yearly subscriptions are paid upfront and renew each year. They continue at the accepted amount until cancelled before renewal, subject to any change separately agreed with you. SMS and email are included within the message allowances agreed for your service. No payment is authorised merely by submitting an enquiry.
Stripe provides hosted checkout, payment management and payment of manual invoices. Use Plan and billing in your account to manage payment details, view available invoices or open subscription management. A separately agreed manual invoice or service order follows its accepted payment terms and does not become an automatic card subscription merely because you have an account.
Cancel before the next renewal through subscription management or contact [email protected] for help. Scheduled cancellation stops the next renewal and service continues to the end of the paid term, subject to the other provisions of these terms. Cancellation does not automatically refund a completed payment. We consider refund requests under applicable law and your agreed order; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
If payment is overdue or activity creates a security or legal risk, we may restrict the affected service after appropriate notice where practicable. Cancellation does not remove fees already validly incurred or any rights you have under law.
7. Availability, support and changes
We aim to operate a useful and reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted access or a response time unless separately agreed. We may perform maintenance, fix faults and change features. We will give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
Keep copies of important source records. Available exports cover your business’s records, subject to legal restrictions and the service’s retention rules. We will take reasonable steps to assist an orderly account closure.
8. Privacy and confidentiality
Our privacy policy explains the handling of personal information. Each party must protect confidential information received through the service and use it only for the agreed purpose or as required by law.
We do not acquire ownership of private customer feedback or your customer list. We may keep minimal records needed for security, legal obligations, suppression controls and dispute resolution after account closure.
9. Liability and Australian consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes a consumer guarantee or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law. Any permitted limitation or remedy applies only to the extent the law allows.
Subject to those rights, each party is responsible for losses caused by its own breach, negligence or unlawful conduct to the extent established under applicable law. We do not provide legal advice or assume responsibility for your underlying services, customer disputes or the independent decisions of Google and other providers.
10. Questions, disputes and updates
Please contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve a concern. Australian law applies, with the courts and tribunals having jurisdiction under applicable law. Mandatory rights and complaint routes remain available.
We may update these terms with appropriate notice. Changes do not retrospectively authorise charges or take away accrued mandatory rights. If a material change affects your service, contact us before continuing so we can discuss your options.
